This Acceptable Use Policy governs the use of Serververse's website, services, infrastructure and related systems. By using Serververse, you agree to comply with this AUP in addition to our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Service Level Agreement. This policy exists to protect Serververse, our network, our users and third parties from abuse, fraud, harm and illegal activity.
This AUP applies to all Serververse customers, users, visitors and anyone who accesses, uses or attempts to use our services in any way. You are responsible for all activity carried out through your account, server, IP address, domain, website, application or any other service provisioned by Serververse.
You may not use Serververse services for any activity that is illegal, harmful, abusive, fraudulent or inconsistent with responsible hosting use. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to: • Any violation of applicable laws, regulations or third-party rights • Hosting, distributing or linking to NSFW, adult, pornographic, obscene or sexually explicit content • Hosting or enabling content involving child sexual abuse material, exploitation, grooming or any related conduct • Fraud, scams, impersonation, phishing or deceptive practices • Malware, ransomware, trojans, botnets, spyware, keyloggers or destructive code • Unauthorized access, hacking, credential theft, brute force attacks or exploitation of vulnerabilities • Denial of service, distributed denial of service, stress testing against third-party targets or traffic flooding • Spam, unsolicited bulk email, mass messaging abuse or mail bombing • Hosting or distributing pirated software, cracked software, stolen data, counterfeit goods or illicit marketplaces • Harassment, defamation, threats, stalking, hate speech or content intended to abuse or intimidate others • Content or services that promote violence, terrorism, extremism or organized criminal activity • Cryptocurrency mining without express written permission from Serververse • Proxy abuse, open relay abuse, VPN abuse, IP spoofing or circumvention of abuse controls • Resource abuse, including excessive CPU, RAM, disk I/O, network or bandwidth usage that degrades service quality • Reverse engineering, tampering or interfering with Serververse systems, dashboards, billing systems or monitoring tools • Reselling, sublicensing or redistributing Serververse services without written authorization • Use of Serververse infrastructure to collect, store or process data in violation of privacy or data protection laws
Serververse operates shared and managed infrastructure. You may not engage in behavior that affects the stability, reputation or availability of our network. This includes: • Network scanning • Port abuse • Packet flooding • Traffic amplification • Attack traffic of any kind • Unapproved benchmarking that impacts other users • Running public services that attract abuse beyond reasonable operational limits If your workload creates risk to the network, we may throttle, isolate, suspend or permanently terminate the service.
Serververse may review, inspect or access service activity, logs or server-related data where necessary to: • Investigate abuse • Prevent fraud • Respond to complaints • Protect our network • Comply with legal obligations • Enforce this AUP, our TOS and related policies If we detect suspicious or prohibited behavior, we may suspend, disable, isolate or delete services immediately, with or without notice, depending on severity.
Violation of this AUP may result in one or more of the following actions: • Warning • Temporary suspension • Network isolation • Service throttling • Permanent account suspension • Deletion of services and data • Refusal of support • Reporting to payment providers, registrars, authorities or law enforcement where appropriate • Any other action necessary to protect Serververse, its users or third parties Serververse may act immediately if it believes there is a credible risk of harm, fraud, abuse or legal exposure.
If your account or service is suspended, terminated or deleted due to a violation of this AUP, you are not entitled to any refund, cashback, service credit or compensation. Any such action is considered a result of policy violation and not a failure of service.
You are responsible for: • Securing your account and credentials • Ensuring your content and workloads comply with this AUP • Monitoring activity on your service • Responding promptly to abuse complaints or security notices • Backing up your data regularly Serververse is not responsible for losses arising from your misuse, misconfiguration, negligence or unlawful conduct.
If we receive a complaint regarding your service, we may forward the complaint to you and request action. You must respond promptly and cooperate fully. Failure to respond may result in enforcement action, including suspension or termination.
Serververse may update this AUP at any time. Changes become effective when posted on our website or when communicated by email. Continued use of our services after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
